MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Mesa Police posted on social media that a missing Mesa teen was found safe Tuesday night.
Yolyn Hermios, 16, was reported missing on Sunday after she was last seen near her home in the area of Dobson and Broadway roads.
According to investigators, her family was concerned for her safety since it is “out of character for her to be gone” for long periods of time.
This was only the third time a Turquoise Alert was issued in the state. The program is also known as “Emily’s Law,” in honor of 14-year-old Emily Pike, who was found murdered after disappearing from a Mesa group home in early 2025.
