SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Voters did not pass both Proposition A and Proposition B for the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District on Tuesday, according to unofficial Hidalgo County election results.
Unofficial results show 2,195 votes are in favor of Proposition A, while 2,587 votes were opposed.
For Proposition B, unofficial results show 1,983 votes are in favor of Proposition B, while 2,720 votes are opposed. The PSJA School District's two Propositions, A and B, make up a $60 million bond election that focuses on district improvements.
Proposition A:
Funding $54.3 million to replace HVAC systems, roof repairs, parking lot upgrades, including general district facilities such as the athletics dome.
