BOISE, Idaho — Polls across Idaho have closed, and Eric Phillips is leading the Caldwell mayoral race with an advantage over two other candidates in unofficial results Tuesday night.
Phillips is expected to guide the city through its next chapter, having garnered 57.1% of the vote as of 11 p.m. MT Tuesday, Nov. 4. All election results are unofficial until certified by the State Board of Canvassers.
Incumbent Mayor Jarom Wagoner sought a second term, facing off with two challengers in Phillips, the former director of student safety for the Caldwell School District; and Brad Doty, Caldwell City Council president and a retired state police major.
