GRANDVILLE, MI – Voters in the Grandville Public Schools district approved two tax proposals at the polls Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Voters passed an operating millage renewal by a vote of 3,591 (68.5%) to 1,651 (31.5%), according to the unofficial results from the Kent County Clerk’s Office.
In Ottawa County, the proposal received 442 yes votes (51.58%) and 415 no votes (48.42%).
In total, the millage renewal got 4,033 unofficial yes votes and 2,066 no votes.
Election results are considered unofficial until they are certified by the county board of canvassers.
The renewal is needed to provide operating cash to fund day-to-day operations. The current operating millage rate authorized is set to expire in December 2026.
