POCATELLO — School District 25 trustee races were favoring the incumbents late Tuesday night with about a quarter of Bannock County's votes still uncounted.
Zone 1 Trustee Megan Furniss, who was appointed to the school board earlier this year, was winning by a slim margin with 555 votes or 50.14 percent against challenger Cami Ellis, who had received 552 votes or 49.86 percent.
Incumbent Zone 2 Trustee Heather Clarke held a lead with 2,211 votes or 63.66 percent against challenger Douglas Johnson, who had 1,262 votes or 36.34 percent.
Incumbent Zone 5 Trustee Deanna Judy was also on pace to retain her post, securing 1,608 votes or 57.06 percent, against challenger David Mattson, who received 1,210 votes or 42.94 percent.
