CHUBBUCK — The city of Chubbuck's mayoral race remained tight on Tuesday night with about a quarter of Bannock County's votes still uncounted.

Challenger Rodney Burch held a lead over incumbent Kevin England as of 10:15 p.m.

Burch received 896 votes or 54.57 percent of the total compared to England's 746 votes or 45.43 percent.

The city's other contested race, Chubbuck City Council seat 4, saw incumbent Norman Reece Jr. in the lead with 965 votes or 60.39 percent while challenger Mandy Peace had 633 votes or 39.61 percent.
