WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue men's basketball does not expect an extended absence for Trey Kaufman-Renn, but they might be without the All-Big Ten forward for a little while longer.

Boilermakers coach Matt Painter said Kaufman-Renn could miss Friday's game against Oakland. The senior had played 110 consecutive games over the previous four years before missing Tuesday's season-opening win over Evansville with a hip injury .
