High pressure will stick around through the end of the week bringing a string of nice days with it.

Wednesday through Friday will feature sunny skies with afternoon highs a few clicks either side of 70° with overnight lows generally in the 40s.

After an isolated shower Friday night, sunshine will be the rule on Saturday with afternoon highs in the mid 70s. Some clouds return Sunday with a rain chance to follow on Sunday afternoon.

Much colder air is currently targeting eastern NC early next week with many areas potentially seeing their first freeze of the season.
