CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wednesday is shaping up to be a very blustery day for Northeast Ohio.

The National Weather Service is predicting sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph, with wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph for Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain and Ashtabula counties. The strongest winds will be along the shore of Lake Erie.

Those areas are under a wind advisory until 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The winds are part of a fast-moving storm system that will sweep across the central Great Lakes on Wednesday, pulling a cold front through Northeast Ohio late in the day.

Temperatures will approach the mid-60s Wednesday and then will eventually drop into the upper 30s overnight. There is a 40% chance of rain during the day and 30% chance overnight. Wind gusts could be near 40 mph.
