PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Sunny and warm conditions are expected in the Valley today with a forecast high of 88 degrees. That’s six degrees above normal for this time of year in Phoenix.

Today’s temperatures are down a few degrees from where they were yesterday, and we should be a few degrees cooler again tomorrow with a forecast high of 86 degrees. Friday brings a high of 85 degrees, which is the coolest temperature we’ll see for an afternoon high this week.

Dry, sunny and quiet conditions look to continue through the rest of this week and through the weekend. As a ridge of high pressure begins to build, temperatures will begin to warm again starting Saturday.
