GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office arrested a third suspect in connection with an Andrews homicide investigation.
Jimmy Sandrilura Smith, 40, of Williamsburg County, has been charged with accessory after the fact of murder and is being held at Georgetown County Detention Center.
It stems from an Oct. 4 shooting in Andrews that left 21-year-old Jonathan Cooper dead and wounded a 22-year-old man.
Two other suspects were previously arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection with the shooting.
“Shiameek Lajuan Alston, 25, of Salters, was taken into custody Tuesday, and Derrick Lamont Bright Jr., 24, has been in custody since Oct. 30,” said officials.
