MONTVILLE, CT (WFSB) - A man was arrested for speeding through school zones in Montville, police said.
Montville police identified the driver as 23-yera-old Cameron Riviera.
According to officers, they conducted speed enforcement on Monday morning.
Around 7 a.m., police said they spotted the driver of a gray BMW sedan speeding northbound on Route 32.
An officer used a mounted radar to record the driver traveling at 105 mph, police said.
The officer notified a second officer who was a mile up the road.
The second officer conducted a traffic stop when the driver was near a Chili’s restaurant.
Police noted that the driver, Riviera, had sped through two school zones, including St. Bernard’s High School and an access road to Mohegan Elementary School.
