RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted on assault charges.

Thirty-seven-year-old Amos Maxwell Abel of Hopedale is wanted on charges of assault with a weapon, two counts of assault and a charge of uttering threats.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Amos Abel is asked to contact RCMP at 709-933-3820.
