JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe and the Missouri Department of Social Services have announced the submission of the state's Rural Health Transformation plan to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
The plan is a collaboration between the governor's office, state agencies, and key healthcare stakeholders. It is designed to increase access, improve quality, enhance care coordination, and incentivize long-term sustainability to create a healthcare ecosystem for generations to come. The plan would create a unified regional network for providers, pharmacies, public health agencies, and digital health tools.
