EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Columbia County fire recruit died during a training program on Tuesday, according to county officials.

The fire department says Fire Recruit Kalif Leslie Daly was not feeling well during physical training.

Daly was transported to the hospital, where he later died, officials say.
