DALLAS — Voters approved a $1.4 billion school bond package for Richardson ISD as well as school tax rate increases for other North Texas school districts Nov. 4, unofficial results show.

The $1.4 billion Richardson ISD bond package was split among three propositions. Proposition A sets aside $1,338,600,000 for construction projects, while Proposition B sets aside $54,000,000 for technology devices and Proposition C sets aside $7,400,000 for stadium upgrades.

Unofficial results showed Proposition A passing with about 64% support, Proposition B passing with about 65% support and Proposition C with about 53% support.

A school tax rate increase in Garland ISD was also approved by voters. It will raise the tax rate $0.12 per $100
