Police are appealing for information after a teenager was attacked by 12 individuals in masks in Mount Florida on Sunday.

The attack was one of a series of similar incidents that occurred on Sunday, November 2, before, during or after the Rangers vs Celtic game at Hampden Stadium.

The 18-year-old man was assaulted by the masked attackers on Battlefield Road at around 5pm, and was taken to University Hospital Hairmyres for treatment.

At around 12pm, a 51-year-old man was assaulted on Victoria Road by a man wearing a black jacket, black hat and black trousers.

And at around 4pm, paramedics were called to the lower tier of the West Stand to treat an injured man.

Whilst the paramedics were trying to treat him, a 49-year-old member of staff was assaulted and treated at the scene.
