KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - During the current SNAP shortage many Knoxville businesses are doing food drives for neighbors in need, but Royal Bark Social Club is taking a different approach to help those who need a little help during the ongoing government shutdown.

The group is partnering with Ladies of Charity and Pantry for Feeding Pets to help give away pet food as families across Tennessee go without SNAP benefits.
“We know that if you’re struggling to feed your family, you’re probably also going to be struggling with getting food for your furry friends and your furry family members,” said General Manager of Royal Bark Social Club, Jama Creswell.
