WASHINGTON — Security camera footage captured the massive explosion triggered by the crash of a UPS cargo plane near Louisville Airport on Tuesday.

Footage from Kentucky Truck Parts & Service shows the plane going down shortly after takeoff and leaving a fiery trail of destruction.

The crash happened just 500 feet from the business, according to the company .

Another video , posted on the same Facebook page and filmed by an employee shows the chaotic scene in the immediate aftermath of the crash.

Later in the evening, the shop posted another video from its front gate camera showing the sky filled with dark smoke and flames still burning more than three hours after the crash.
