LANCASTER COUNTY, Neb. —
A wanted person is injured after being shot by law enforcement officers during an incident in Lincoln, Nebraska State Patrol Col. Bryan Waugh said .
Waugh said members of the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force were looking for a wanted individual, who was determined to be at a hotel near 56th Street and Cornhusker Highway.
The subject was wanted in connection with felony narcotics and possession of a firearm case and was believed to be armed and dangerous, investigators said.
Around 8:45 a.m., the subject exited the hotel and entered a vehicle driven by another person, according to Waugh.
Members of the task force, including a state trooper and US Deputy Marshall, attempted to stop the vehicle and apprehend the wanted person, investigators said. Tthe driver stop
