This weekend Canton is saying a bittersweet goodbye to their local bakery, Cake Gypsy.

The closure was announced this morning via Facebook and Instagram in a heartfelt message from the owner, Deanna Damen, who has decided to retire.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of this sweet adventure,” Damen wrote.

Customers can make their last walk-in purchases through Nov. 8, at 250 Albany Turnpike in Canton.

Cupcake of the month cardholders are encouraged to stop by to redeem them before then. If cardholders are unable to make it before closure, contact the store to be reimbursed for the remainder of your card.
