Adam Sendroff is the projected winner of the mayor’s race in Hamden.

Sendroff, a Democratic, secured 8,518 votes, a ccording to the unofficial results from the Secretary of the State’s office , which are based on 94 percent of the precincts reporting. That was 60.16 percent of the vote.

Republican candidate Jonathan Katz secured 3,839 votes, 27.12 percent of the vote, according to the Secretary of the State's website.

He released a statement on Wednesday afternoon in which he thanked supporters and said he would be reaching out to congratulate Sendroff and wish him success.
