One person was taken to the Bridgeport Burn Unit after a fire in Norwalk on Wednesday morning.
The Norwalk Fire Department said they responded to Fairfield Avenue around 10:45 a.m. and found a car in the garage of a three-story multifamily house on fire with a person inside.

They had to go through a wall to open the car and remove the victim who had suffered burn injuries.
Paramedics transported the person to Norwalk Hospital, then the patient was taken to the Bridgeport Burn Unit, according to the fire department.
Fire officials said the fire was contained to the vehicle and garage and there was smoke damage to the floors above.
No other injuries are reported and the fire is under investigation.
