GONZALES, La. (WAFB) - The Gonzales Police Department is asking for help finding a teenager who was reported missing.

Police said Stephianna Jones, 17, was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 14. That night, she allegedly left her home at The Palms Apartments on N. Coontrap Road in Gonzales.

Officials described her as having reddish-blonde dreadlocks and a tattoo of a flower on her lower left arm.

According to police, sources indicate she could be in Mississippi with a male known only as “CJ,” or in the Atlanta, Ga. area.

She was reportedly supposed to start school on the day she disappeared, but officials say she has been truant for approximately three weeks.

Her social media accounts are no longer active and may have been deleted, according to police.
