WILKES-BARRE — One of the five people suspected in the tortured killing of a Michigan woman and burying her body in the dirt basement of a Wilkes-Barre row house is seeking guaranteed immunity.

William Benjamin Wolfe, 56, filed a hand written letter pledging not to speak with “any member of law enforcement without immunity guarantees” and will not entertain any plea agreement that does not include his immediate release from prison.

Wolfe, along with Jason P. Race, 49, Faith L. Beamer, 41, Desiree K. Linnette, 45, and her daughter, Sarai Kamalani Doyle, 25, were charged by Wilkes-Barre City police detectives and Luzerne County detectives with torturing and killing Nicole Cuevas, 38, inside 142 Carlisle St., and burying her body in the basement.
