MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WFSB) - A 61-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a bank in Middletown.
The bank robbery occurred on Nov. 1st at the Liberty Bank on South Main Street.
Witnesses told police a white male walked into the bank and implied that he had a weapon.
Police say the employees complied with the suspect’s orders for money and left with an undetermined amount of cash.
During the investigation, 61-year-old Bruce Vaughan was developed as a suspect.
Vaughan was arrested early this morning at a hotel in Meriden after barricading himself inside for more than six hours.
