FRONT ROYAL — In exit polling Tuesday, most Warren County voters interviewed said they came out to support county funding of Samuels Public Library.

The Warren County Board of Supervisors elected earlier this year not to allocate funding to the library and has since redistributed the $1.024 million earmarked for library operations to other county departments.

The issue of library funding has been a hot topic at county meetings for months — with members of the Save Samuels PAC and other library supporters urging supervisors to fund the historic institution.

Samantha Good, president of the Save Samuels PAC who repeatedly warned supervisors that library supporters would show up at election time, was elated with Tuesday's results.
