BOSTON — Two Massachusetts men were arrested on Tuesday in connection with an explosion at Harvard Medical School’s Goldenson Building , authorities said, following an accused conspiracy to damage the facility using a large commercial firework.
According to the Department of Justice, federal prosecutors identified the suspects as 18-year-old Logan David Patterson of Plymouth and 20-year-old Dominick Frank Cardoza of Bourne. Each man is charged with one count of conspiracy to damage a building by means of an explosive. The men were taken into custody Tuesday morning.
They are scheduled to appear Monday, Nov. 24 in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, according to court records.
