LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Excitement is building for the 12th annual Good Life Halfsy.

A record-setting field of more than 9,000 runners will take to the streets of Lincoln on Sunday, making this the largest Good Life Halfsy in history and the biggest half-marathon in Nebraska.

According to organizers, this is the 12th consecutive sellout and a 25% increase in participation over last year’s field of 7,100 runners.

Runners will start at Seacrest Field at 8:30 a.m. and follow a course that winds through some of the city’s most iconic sights — Holmes Lake, Antelope Valley, Union Plaza, Innovation Campus, and the historic North Bottoms Neighborhood — before crossing the finish line beside The Railyard in the Haymarket District.
