MONROE, Wis. (WKOW) -- A Green County jury found an Albany man guilty of two felony charges in the 2021 death of his newborn daughter .
After seven days of trial, Logan Kruckenberg-Anderson, 21, was convicted of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. The jury reached its verdict after about two-and-a-half hours of deliberation, according to online court records.
Prosecutors said in January 2021, Kruckenberg-Anderson admitted that he abandoned the baby in the woods. When investigators found her body, she appeared to have been shot in the head.
Kruckenberg-Anderson was 16 years old at the time of the infant's death.
A sentencing hearing for Kruckenberg-Anderson is scheduled for March 16, 2026. A first-degree intentional homicide conviction carries an automatic sentence
