A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old during a birthday party in north Minneapolis over the weekend.
Raymond Valentino Bowser, of Minneapolis, has been charged via juvenile petition with second-degree murder in the death of Aundre Loyd, who was shot in the side of the head in the basement of a home on the 2900 block of Russell Avenue North Sunday evening.
The initial 911 call reported that the wound Loyd suffered was self-inflicted, but as officers arrived at the scene, they were flagged down by a teen running from the scene, who told the officer his friend had been shot.
