DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Duluth Police Department sported pink badges this month for a good cause.
Now, the department said they raised almost $1,000.
It’s part of the Pink Patch Project , a campaign that aims to draw attention to the battle against breast cancer and raise funds for research.
It’s the fifth consecutive year the department has participated in the campaign.
The nearly $1,000 will be supporting the American Cancer Society to treat all cancers.
