Regan Hill had 14 kills and 17 digs as Garnet Valley bested previously unbeaten Wilson, 3-2, in a PIAA Class 4A girls volleyball opener late Tuesday night.

Garnet Valley prevailed, 20-25, 2521, 25-22, 22-25, 15-10, against Wilson, the District 3 champion that entered with a 24-0 record.

Hill added four blocks. Abigail MacMillan paired 18 kills with seven digs and three aces. Aubrey Devono came up with 13 kills and seven digs. Cara Furchner led the defense with 15 digs. Brianna Acker paired six digs with two aces. Janani Muniswamy paired three aces with eight digs and 48 assists for the Jaguars (23-2).

Garnet Valley advances to Saturday’s quarterfinals against Pine Richland, the District 7 runner-up. The game is at 3 p.m. at Chambersburg High School.
