Dozens of people gathered in Williamsburg on Wednesday evening to speak out in protest of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in the historical triangle region.
People living in Williamsburg told 13 News Now about what they called a wrongdoing in their own backyard.
It was an active protest that spanned several blocks near William & Mary. People there called ICE activity in the area "inhumane" and "out of line."
The protest Wednesday was the second one of its kind after representatives from a group named Virginia Organizing said several people in their community were detained by ICE.
