AUBURN, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Turning Point USA event took place at Auburn University on Wednesday night.
U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-AL, Lara Trump, Eric Trump and Benny Johnson honored Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA who was assassinated in Utah on Sept. 10. They spoke to students about conservative values.
Leaders were met with a raucous crowd in Neville Arena. Eric and Lara Trump spoke about family and fighting for the conservative movement.
“This is the group. This is the spirit that’s going to save the United States of America," said Eric Trump, one of President Donald Trump's sons. "It’s this heart. It’s this soul. It’s this movement.”
The panel took questions from students and also called the president.
