GRESHAM, Ore. — Gresham police have arrested the man who reportedly pointed a gun at customers while attempting to cut in the drive-thru of a Taco Bell on Halloween.
Police said thanks to multiple community tips, they were able to arrest 64-year-old David Mead Sr. early Wednesday evening.
On Oct. 31, customers at the Taco Bell near Northeast Burnside Road and North Main Avenue reported seeing an "angry" person banging on the restaurant's doors, Gresham police told KGW.
The suspect, Mead, got into his truck and tried to cut around vehicles lined up in the drive-thru. He pulled out a gun when customers told him to go to the back of the line, then allegedly pointed the gun at a car with two adults and a young child inside.
