A pancake fundraiser was held on Wednesday for the family of 15-year-old Kane Roldan , one of the two teenagers shot and killed at a Halloween party in Chula Vista last week.

Patty Garcia says her mini pancakes are “made with a lot of love.” She was spreading the love on Wednesday night by donating a dollar of each sale to Kane's family.

Kane and his 17-year-old best friend Elias Yanez were killed at a party in Chula Vista on Halloween night.

“The moms, you know, going through so much pain and still having to worry about funds to bury their loved ones, being able to help them, I just jumped on it," Garcia said.

Garcia gathered some of her business friends at Azteca Lemonades to take part in the fundraiser for Kane's family at Cesar Solis Park in Chula Vista.
