The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections begins early Thursday with around 3.75 crore voters set to cast their votes in 121 of the 243 constituencies in the state. The voting began at 7 am and it will continue till 5 pm across 45,341 polling stations. Several top leaders are in fray in this phase, including the Tejashwi Yadav, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, folk singer Maithili Thakur, and Bhojpuri superstars Khesari Lal Yadav.
