NORTH CANTON — Walsh University President Tim Collins has been elected vice chair of the NCAA Division II Executive Board for a one-year team beginning in January.

The Division II Executive Board is comprised of 13 voting members, including nine presidents and chancellors, two student-athletes and two independent representatives. The board serves as the governing body for Division II athletics and oversees the division’s strategic direction, operating plan and long-range budget.

Collins represents the Midwest Region on the board,
