CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati police say they are investigating the city’s latest homicide.

Darnell Mooney, 24, was found shot in his back and head in an apartment on Hansford Place in South Fairmount around 8 p.m. Wednesday, police say.

He succumbed to his injuries at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, police announced early Thursday.

No arrests were announced overnight.
