Today and tomorrow, federal workers in Huntsville have the opportunity to connect with various support and resources at the First Baptist Church of Huntsville.
The event, hosted by several community entities, is really focused on helping furloughed federal employees and those still working without pay who are struggling during what’s become the longest government shutdown in history.
Over the next two days, workers can stop by anytime to meet with representatives from the Alabama Career Center, temporary employment agencies, banks, counseling and mental health services, and local non-profits.
