In a tragic incident a middle-aged woman named Dipti Das (43) seemingly burned herself to death this morning though investigation by police into the reason for her death is still on. Giving details police sources from Udaipur said that the deceased woman used to live in their residence in Rajarbag area of the town with her husband Srikrishna Das (45) who is a pharmacist in the Gomati district hospital in Tepania area of the town.

This morning Srikrishna Das had gone out on morning walk around 6-00 AM within a short time of his departure the neighbours saw a ball of fire in front of his residence and started running about.
