LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WXIX) - Twelve people are confirmed dead with nine individuals reported missing as a result of Tuesday’s UPS plane crash at Muhammad Ali International Airport, according to Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg.
On Wednesday, Mayor Greenberg announced 15 people were reported missing through the family assistance center run by the Louisville Metro Police Department. Since then, six of those people have been located.
“We may have located all of the victims; there may be more that have not yet been reported...” Greenberg said.
The coroner’s office is still working on identifying the 12 victims pulled from the wreckage . Two others remain in critical condition at the University of Louisville Hospital.
