BROWN COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - A woman is hospitalized after a driver hit her with a vehicle and left her on the side of the road.
The 30-year-old, from Hillsboro, was flown by Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries, the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Georgetown Post said.
It happened Wednesday around 8:21 p.m. on State Route 286 near the intersection of Upper Five Mile Road in Sterling Township in Brown County.
According to OSHP, the woman was walking on SR-286 when an unidentified vehicle struck her and drove away.
Troopers found a side mirror at the scene and believes the suspect’s vehicle may be a Chevrolet or GMC full size pickup, a press release says.
