GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - St. Paul Lutheran School in Green Bay was placed on a soft lockdown on Wednesday as police responded to an ongoing incident near the building.
According to the school’s assistant principal, officers stopped a driver near the campus when the individual allegedly exited their vehicle and began running.
A soft lockdown is a precautionary safety measure used when there is a potential threat outside a school rather than an immediate danger inside. During a soft lockdown, exterior doors are secured, but students and staff can continue normal activities inside while remaining indoors.
