ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (WOIO) - The Rocky River Brewing Company announced Wednesday that it is aiming to reopen in early March 2026 after a fire in June forced it to close.

The restaurant said after the fire had its challenges, but it would not close for good.

Rocky River Fire Chief Aaron Lenart said a construction crew working on the roof of the restaurant accidentally started the blaze, causing $3 million in damages.

Two Rocky River Firefighters were injured fighting the blaze and taken to the hospital.

Chief Lenart said one firefighter was treated and released and the other spent the night at the hospital.

Multiple other fire departments assisted the scene.
