OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Temperatures have warmed back into the 60s this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Outside of a strong south breeze, this evening should be pretty mild.
Much calmer conditions will return after sunset, before our south wind transitions into a northwest wind overnight.
A similar forecast is expected Friday with highs in the mid 60s, but with less cloud cover and more sunshine. Winds will be gusting up to 30 mph again, coming in out of the northwest.
Big changes are coming this weekend! We have a new system moving into the area that will bring rain and snow chances, our coldest temperatures so far this season leading to our first widespread freeze of the season, as well as very strong winds that will drop our feels like temperature close to 10°.
