You may have noticed some changes being made to part of Cincinnati's iconic skyline.
The city's Cincinnati sign is getting a makeover. The sign has been a fixture of the city's skyline for years, most notably when driving in from I-75. The sign was last upgraded in 2014 but 3CDC said its metal panels have become expensive to maintain. Advertisement
The old sign was demolished back in the summer and a new, upgraded one is now being installed.
An exact date of when it will make its debut has not been announced yet, but it's expected to be completed and functional by mid-December.
The updated sign will have individual LED-illuminated letters so that each can be customized with different colors, gradients and rich hues. For example, 3CDC said that during game days they can i
