OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Wisconsin leaders are warning that the state’s food security system is under growing strain with uncertainties surrounding SNAP benefits during the ongoing federal government shutdown.

On Thursday, Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) Secretary Randy Romanski and Department of Children and Families (DCF) Secretary Jeff Pertl toured the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry to discuss how the lapse in federal aid is affecting families.
