SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A proposed townhome development across the street from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is raising questions about safety.
Residents are telling ABC7 they’re worried about the noise and their safety, living so close to the airport especially following a deadly crash in Louisville.

The City of Sarasota’s Development Review Committee oversaw a proposal set up on 2.33 acres of land across University Parkway from the end of SRQ’s main runway at the corner of Old Bradenton Road.
During the meeting, committee members asked for several revisions from representatives of Oasis Landscape Architecture.
